The total distance from the international airport is 90 miles and will take about 3 hours. There are also two domestic airlines that fly to Quepos from San Jose, the flight time is about 20 minutes. Airport shuttles at the Quepos airstrip provide transportation to and from the hotel for about $6. Private pick up and land transfers from San Jose are also available upon request with comfortable air condition mini vans. Si Como No is located on the main road to the beach, three miles from Manuel Antonio National Park and the port town of Quepos. To get around locally you can simply walk, drive, take a “registered” taxi or convenient public transportation, or use our free hotel shuttle to the beach.
Enjoy sandy beaches with average year- round water temperatures of 82 degrees (28° C) cooled by soft tropical breezes that comfort the soul and establish Manuel Antonio as a jungle paradise. The nearby sport fishing town of Quepos boasts enough nightlife for the young and not so young to "salsa" until the small hours of the morning at local discotheques. The morning often begins with the clamor and banter
of hundreds of birds and the local families of "Titi" (squirrel) &
"Cariblanco" (white-face) monkeys. They welcome the early riser on
his/her way to a day of challenging whitewater rafting on the Savegre
River, or incredible off-shore sport fishing on legendary calm waters
teeming with sailfish, tuna, and mahi-mahi, or otherwise merely
absorbing the blue expanse of the sparkling Pacific Ocean from a
comfortable lounge chair.
Getting to Si Como No is a scenic adventure! From the
Costa Rican International Airport, take the Pan-American Highway to Atenas. Exit at the Atenas - Orotina sign and continue your drive
past Orotina. Follow the Hotel signs past Jaco to
Parrita, and finally Quepos. Once in Quepos, turn left just past the
tiny park, and drive another 2.5 miles on the only road
to Manuel Antonio National Park. You will see the hotel parking entrance
on your right.
