| Hotel Lago Arenal is 3 hours and 30 minutes away
from San José, driving along one of the most typical
and panoramic routes of our country. Taking the Juan Santamaría International Airport as reference, you take the Interamericana Norte highway until the city of San Ramón; then, you follow the signs that lead you to La Fortuna, the Arenal lake dam and last, the town of Nuevo Arenal, where you will find the Hotel. Along the road, you can experience the different microclimates ranging from the very particular Central Intermountain Valley climate to the amazing rain forest. You may in addition, admire the coffee, ornamental plants and strawberry plantations, as well as the beautiful cattle and milk farms, all this surrounded by the true “campesino” spirit of our country. Once you reach La Fortuna, you will enjoy the wonderful view of the Arenal Volcano, around which you will follow your journey up to the Lake with that same name and the Hotel, 1,2 Kms East from the Nuevo Arenal gym.
