Braulio Carrillo National Park

We drive to Braulio Carrillo National Park, where we have a
traditional lunch. Than we walk through the Cloud Forest (about 90 minutes) and
you can participate a trip with the Aerial Tram passing the top
of the jungle trees (90 minutes,
costs not included). Return to Santa Ana or
your hotel at 6 p.m.

Volcano Irazu and Garden Lankaster
Start at the Hotel: 7
a.m.
An early start, but we have to be on the
volcano on time in order to enjoy the view (on good days you can see both the
Pacific- and
Carribbean coast). At 11
a.m. we continue to Cartago, where you
will go for a sightseeing walk. After lunch we continue
to Garden Lankaster, where you can
see a large variety of orchids and tropical plants.
Return to Santa Ana or your Hotel
at about 6 p.m.

Volcano Poas and Museum Alajuela
Start from the Hotel: 7
a.m.
An early start, but we have to be on top on
time to enjoy the view to the crater.
Passing strawberry plants, we climb up
and arrive in a cloud forest lush vegetation. After a
walk to the crater which is considered to be the one with the biggest diameter
world wide (almost one mile), we
return to Alajuela for lunch. We visit the museum
and return to Santa Ana or your Hotel
at about 6 p.m.

Walk through the coffee finca and Rodeo Park in Ciudad Colon
Start from the Hotel: 9
a.m.
Coffee is not the first income source anymore.
Tourism is the income leader since years. Lunch in Ciudad
Colon. We continue to the University of Peace. From there, we walk through the
untouched Rodeo Park, where you can see butterflies, monkeys and giant trees.
Back in Santa Ana or your Hotel
at about 6 p.m.

San José Gold - and Criminal Museum
Start from the Hotel: 9 a.m.
See the capitol of Costa Rica with all the places of interest.
See the treasures of old cultures in the gold museum. A very interesting place
to visit is the criminal museum in San José. It has a large collection of
criminal tools and human body parts in conserving liquid. Requires physical
strength. Other museums can be seen instead, of course! The choice is up to you.
End of the sightseeing tour at about 5 p.m.
