These prices include: 20 hours of lessons per week (a maximum of two students per class), textbooks, a certificate (upon completion of a minimum of 20 hours course), room and board (7 days a week).

The school offers a guide that shows the students the natural attractions of Longo Mai, like: the primary and secondary forests, the rivers, "la posa de la perica" (a natural swimming pool in Rio Volcano), coffee and sugar cane plantations, the traditional agriculture of subsistence, "la ceiba" (the biggest tropical tree), rock drawings, an indigenous cemetery, cultural activities and a visit to Punta Uvita beach (no beach visit during one week course). Students pay their expenses during the visit to the beach, but the institute provides the guide.
Students have laundry facilities at their disposal. There are also riding and dancing possibilities and the school will help in arranging any tours and classes around the village.
