You will find our Spanish Immersion Center at the Pacific coast less than 3 miles from Manuel Antonio National Park and 5 min outside of Quepos.

Who does not dream of studying Spanish close to the beach of your dreams with the ocean in your view! Realize your dream at our Centro de Idiomas del Pacífico.

You can choose from 3 or 4 hours of group or private classes per day for a minimum of one week. We recommend our full immersion program which includes a homestay with a local family in Quepos. In addition to your classes, you will be living in a Costa Rican home thereby allowing you to completely immerse yourself into the Spanish language and the Costa Rican culture. Our host families have been carefully selected with your comfort in mind. Our homestay families only speak Spanish so you will have plenty of opportunity to practice the language in everyday situations.

Before the first class you are given a short oral proficiency test in order to be placed at your appropriate Spanish proficiency level, and will be provided with all the necessary materials. Our school offers 6 different levels: Beginner I and II, Intermediate I and II and Advanced I and II. Upon your own language skill development you are free to change levels. Classes are either in the morning from 8:30 to 12:30 or in the afternoon from 1:30 to 5:30, Monday through Friday. Our groups are never lager than 4 people who have all the same level of Spanish knowledge. During the day you have the possibility to use the classrooms, our kitchen and the internet. A swimming pool and hammocks are also at your disposal.

Our school is very individual. We offer all our students a very private, confidential and familiar atmosphere. We can help you find and book accommodations, tours and transports before and during your stay. Quepos and Manuel Antonio provide a wide range of tours to discover and understand the environment of Quepos and Costa Rica: trips by boat through the mangroves, walking over hanging bridges in the rainforest, Dolphin watching, horseback riding, canopy, rafting etc.

Learning should be a pleasure. You have the option of participating in one field trip per week as well as participating in Salsa and Merengue dance class. We also provide classes outside of the school at a restaurant while having breakfast, at the beach or a hike through the rainforest to a lookout of Quepos.

All our teachers have a lot of experience in teaching the Spanish language in all levels and they love their work. They are conscious that everybody has a different way of learning, and they know how to adapt to different learning styles. Therefore, in order for learning to be truly effective, the student is given plenty of opportunities to make connections and create relationships between prior knowledge and new material. Every student receives his individual attention resolving problems of the Spanish language and the class does not continue before a common solution is found. To present material in a creative, unique and imaginative way the classes include newspapers, advertising material, TV and games. In order to acquire, develop and express an understanding of any language – reading, speaking, listening and writing developmental skills must occur concurrently.
